Shader Performance Tips

    Use Lite or Medium versions of shaders when available to balance visuals and FPS

    Reduce shadow quality and lower render distance for smoother gameplay

    Disable volumetric clouds and fancy water effects to save performance

    Lower anti-aliasing settings to reduce GPU load

Installation Guide

  1. 1

    Download a shader pack (.zip file) compatible with Iris and Sodium

  2. 2

    Install Iris shader mod for Fabric (preferred) or OptiFine if using Forge

  3. 3

    Place the shader pack .zip file into your Minecraft 'shaderpacks' folder

  4. 4

    Launch Minecraft and navigate to: Options > Video Settings > Shaders

  5. 5

    Select your shader pack and adjust settings to your preference

Note: For Fabric users, Iris Shaders is required instead of OptiFine. Some shaders may not be compatible with Iris.
